She Sets a Table

Decorating is fun for me. I approach it as a collection of items, colors and patterns that tell the story of us. Setting the table is another opportunity to create a beautiful place for people to come together.

While I may not care much for cooking, I value quality time the most! At the table is where we sit, share and are present with one another.

I recently found these table pieces while visiting Target and I couldn't add them to my cart fast enough. I love collecting seashells and while one day I hope to have a home at the beach, for now we can dine like we do!

I typically find most of my table linens and tableware at antique shops but these new finds will fit in nicely.

I brought home this tablecloth, platter, rattan shell chargers, dinner plates, salad plates and appetizer plates. I layered in complimentary finishing pieces.

Tip: You don't want everything to be matchy-matchy

I have these cute plates too and think these mini bowls are darling. The best part is these dishes are durable and practical.

You don't need a special occasion or fancy food. An ordinary Tuesday is just perfect!
