Look at Her Go!

We've been working with Vivian on learning to ride her bike without training wheels for several months. She really wanted to learn and we really wanted to help her, but often it became frustrating.

We would go several weeks without trying to relieve some of the pressure.

A couple of weeks ago, Vivian's cousin's received a new bike. The girls went out and Vivian hopped on her cousin's older bike.

Just like that she balanced and rode the bike all by her self!!!

I watched her balance (in her cowgirl boots) with such pride and joy!

It made me reflect on so many things in my life that I put so much pressure on to accomplish in a certain way & time. Often, it's when we step back, throw our hand up and let it happen the way it's intended that we find ourselves pleasantly pleased.

We must trust in the outcomes and timing that is meant for us.

Personally, I like to hold on tight to my delusions of control but it's when I loosen my grip that wonderful things occur.

Let Go and Look at it Go!
