Easy & Natural Makeup

Over the Summer one of my goals was to wear less make up for a more natural look. I have several friends that wear minimal and I admire how pretty they are.

I have to be honest, I’ve always worn a full face of makeup because it makes me feel pretty and adds confidence. I don’t have those feelings bare faced at all.

Having a fair complexion, breakouts my whole life UGH, very pale lips, eyebrows & lashes (red head!) And lots of redness has makes me self conscious.

I’m working on these things by taking care of my skin and embracing the person I’m made to be.

Here’s what I've been using for a quick and natural makeup look:

See a video application on my Instagram!

Creamy foundation compact - this is by a brand ‘No Makeup Makeup’ and it’s just like it sounds. Light, easy to apply and very little goes all the way. I recommend the brush that comes with it!

Note: I only use it on my T-zone and a little on the cheeks. Shade 'light'

Under Eye Concealer - I’ve been using this for well over 10 years. I use the tiniest amount. Shade 'Light 10.5'

Powder - sets and controls shine! Primarily on my T-zone and under-eye areas

Blush - I love this color all year long! Shade Rosy

Eyeshadow - I use either 1 of these liquid colors applied with my finger or just 1 color from a palette. Shade warm

Eyebrows - this is a must! I look back at my younger years & my eyebrows just weren’t there. My coloring results in very pale/translucent eyebrows & lashes. Shade Auburn

Mascara - I’ve been using this one for years. It really lengthens.

Lipstick - I’m a tube of long wearing saturated color kind of gal. shade Miranda May

That’s it!

I skipped face & eye primers, bronzer & highlighter, along with more eyeshadow & eyeliner.

I’ll do the full routine for church and evenings but I’m happy to report I have gained confidence with less makeup.

I look like me - enhanced!
